I really feel for you being in such a nasty, no-win situation. But stick your guns!!
Good Luck!!!!

Stay strong, friend. You're on the side of Justice and Reason, here. Unfortunately in America today, that's not the popular side anymore.
Stylistically, I have a few suggestions:
1. Less is more.
2. You don't need to say what a snake the woman is in every other sentence. Let the facts speak for themselves, and don't relentlessly hammer your conclusion. The reader will draw the necessary lesson from the facts.
3. Tell it chronologically. "I needed a few easy credits to graduate, so I signed up for such-and-such class. Little did I know the kafkaesque freak show that awaited me."
4. Try shorter paragraphs and sentences. Be Joe Friday.
5. Try to fill in some factual gaps, such as, what did the guy who sat in on the class say to you and was he at all sympathetic. What official notifications, if any, did you (or the teacher) receive from the university? The death threat is intriguing, and you don't give any details at all. How was it made, do you have any reason to suspect anyone in particular, and did you report it (you should have reported it to the cops, not just the school)? Telling details engage the readers and makes them care.
6. A little background on the school, its general social climate and this professor would provide some useful flavor.
7. Did I mention that less is more?
Again, I like that you did not cow to the pc mob in that classroom. You spoke your mind just like the others were allowed to do. Fear of an honest position is the mark of totalitarianism. The teacher sounds like a little Stalin, and any school that condones such behavior is little better. Good luck to you.
Funny how so many of us want to adopt the confrontational tactics of the left, even while decrying them._________________________
What was surprising to me was that this line of reasoning was professed in every class I took. History , anthropology and political scence(my major at the time)professors all preached the same basic doctrines with only slight changes on the theme to make it fit in with the course, and sometimes only by a thread at that.
So what did I do? Packed it up and said F you to all of them. I stopped handing in all of my papers, many of them were definite A's (or so I tell myself), and got a job to support myself. I was not going to keep lying about my true beliefs to appease these monsters. Whether they know it or not, the socialist profs. intent is to destroy the human race through a slow drain on the producers of this world. I don't know how deeply you have thought about the true intention of your prof., but they have less to do with raising the standards of living for women and minorities, and more to do with lowering the standards of living of the white male (and any productive person of any color or sex who happens to get in their way).
It was three years ago that I failed out of UVM and I am not sure if I did the right thing, but atleast they have one less conservative in their grips who will sit with his mouth shut and put up with their deceptions anymore. Best of luck with your quest to make a change in the school that you are currently enrolled in, but I feel that your complaints will fall on deaf ears. The administration of many colleges today are the coherts of these radical profs or are cowards who pray only to be spared from the rampages of the leftist manhaters. Your only chance at making progress in this may be to bring a lawsuit foward and hope that you get a competent lawyer.
I now manage a company that installs fireplaces. Never again do I have to worry about writing a paper that I completley disagree with to get by in college. Of course, I have less strength to make the neccessary changes in society and government to create a world where justice is more important that gender, but it seems that the ground will be fertile for a more conservative environment in the near future. A couple of Osama's bombs may speed along that process, these professors can't argue as well with the reality of death.
If you ever get fed up with the proccess, you can always walk away from them. Their strength does not come from the whiny little sh%&s who suck up to their every word, but from the competent men like yourself and I, who give them the time of day to throw their tantrums. I know quitting always seems like the worst option, but any other action only gives them a platform to continue their hate. Do what you have to do and good luck in your fight.
I recall taking "American Literature 1900-1950" (something like that) and there being no Hemingway, no Fitzgerald, and no Faulkner anywhere on the reading list. When I asked about this, the "professor" said they were the "white male canon" and we should focus on Native American and black writers. So we read the "white man is bad" curricula all year..
My commentary on SFSU is this: I entered a democrat, I exited a staunch republican. If it weren't for that fine institution I would still be floundering around with the rest of the mindless. It was such an OBVIOUS strongarming, as far as only one opinion being valid, that I just had to go and explore the other side on my own. Thank God I did.
This was around the time of the OJ Simpson trial, and almost all my professors were praising his aquittal, talking about how if OJ had married a black woman he wouldn't have had these problems...and how the "man" was keeping him down. I kid you not.
Our graduation ceremony had as its guest speaker (I am not kidding) Danny Glover, who went on to personally thank every conceivable ethnic group for its "diversity". I mean he thanked Polynesians, and Samoans, and EVERYBODY, and then as an aside he said, "Oh and also, the *enlightened* whites." Non-"enlightened" whites need not apply to two-bit actor Danny Glover's view of paradise.
Anyway, Coastman, I would start tape recording your classes, that way you can put some real quotes into your article. Direct quotes will have more power than anecdotal info. Also can you interview other students at SFSU? I found that people always thanked me later for speaking my mind in class (of course they were silent in class...) but perhaps you could interview them anonymously?
Good luck, man. Believe me, I feel for ya.
With regard to your writing style, get your writings into smaller paragraphs. Try to stick to the facts. Make each paragraph a topic in itself. Start each paragraph with a thesis sentence, then add supporting facts. Finally, use a concluding sentence that reiterates the paragraph's thesis. This will get your point across and will keep the reader's interest.
My opinion is that the woman is delusional. She blames all here problems on everyone else. Its hard to beleive that she is a college professor, but there's plenty more like her. I had a similar experience in my short tenure in the state funded college. Wacky professors using lies to further a cause that has been otherwise lost.
Good luck.
Exactly. I could not agree more.
This calls for what Rush Limbaugh has termed "illustrating absurdity with absurdity." It is only right for you to hammer her and her ilk with the same measures that they use against others who they hate.
Ping me when you have an update.
You may do some research on this, but I think you will find she is probably correct.
During WWII they were forced into this by the Japanese military authorities.
Today - 2001, many Filipinas, (correct terminology for women from the Philippines), are lured into 'hostess' positions in Japan.
These 'job offers' are run by the Japanese mob, (Yakusa). They take the girls passports as soon as they arrive in Japan and are helpless to escape. They are forced into very de-humanizing pornographic acts and are often physically abused and even murdered. This is a very sad situation that needs exposure to the world. Maybe that's why she is bringing it up so prominantly in her course. I can attest to this, as I lived in Japan for many years and I am married to a lady from the Philippines.
You have received some good input in this thread.
Read it, absorb it, employ it.
Learning is what education is all about, and man you have great learning potential there!
