For dancing we have some Frank Sinatra, some Duke Ellington, or some Bennie Goodwin.
Here, have a Bloody Mary and a hand stuffed Samson Milde Shag and take your pick on the music.

Judy... Judy... Judy... Pleasant memories roll over me at the thought of Judy... she was my first girlfriend... 7th grade... 1948... no monkey business... just my girlfriend and I never had the nerve to kiss her... even though she was beautifull and we'd go to the Saturday afternoon movies... admission 10 cents each !!! But we did share our first cigarette together... a Camel that she swiped from a pack laying on her dad's dresser (her dad was a police detective, and we were both scared sh!tless that he figure out that she'd swiped that cig). Then we moved 450 miles away and I never saw her again !!! Nice tobacco inclusive memories, eh? !!!

Ah yes, the first smoke shared with the girlfriend.
Nice memories.

My hubby and I found the best way to smoke while at the same time, paying the least amount of money (therefore taxes) to the commie-anti-smokers out here in California. (Reiner, et al.)
Instead of buying by the carton ($42-50) per for American Spirits (yellow), we buy the can of loose American Spirit tobacco ($12.99), and a box of 100 filtered tubes ($1.00). A one-time purchase of the "injecting" machine was also necessary, for $10.
100 tubes filled with loose tobacco by way of the "injector", for less than $15, and we still have tobacco left over in the can. It's simple, quick, and tastes the same (of course.)
Anything to help out.

OK, how about a little swing, FLy Me To The Moon.
Is that a danceable tune?
To: Just another Joe
Thanks for the welcome. But today, I may even try to not smoke (much anyway.) Cold, headache, sore throat, coughing, even my teeth hurt. Crawling back into bed. Have a great weekend.
LOL,LGE

You'll find a number of us here do the same thing.
I personally prefer Samson Milde Shag, but have had trouble finding it in bulk. If you don't buy it in bulk it's a little expensive.
But a number of us do stuff our own.

Quite the dancable tune.

To paraphrase fire fighter Mike Moran - pristine christine and the rest of the freedom hating anti-smokers can kiss my lily white glutimous maximus!!!!!!

:o) I knew it wasn't an original thought, but I'm happy that others are doing the same thing, saving money in the process and all. I grow more and more irritated by the ads out here from the anti-enjoyment crowd. Especially that "cartoon" alligator. I thought cartoons marketed to kids, e.g. Joe Camel?! Hypocrites again and again with every puff of their Davidoff's.

At the local Wawa, they were advertising a brand of cigarettes for $2.39 a pack (here in NJ, a pack of Winston light 100's goes for about $4.25). The brand is called "USA" and is manufactured by The Medallion Company, Inc. - Richmond Virginia. What caught my eye was "additive free", which is why I went with Winston when they started the No Bull campaign.
Well, I tried the light 100's and athough they are a bit stronger, they taste remarkably similar to the Winston light 100's I used to smoke. FYI....

TGIF fellow Freepers!
Got the Lounge open alittle early today, huh Joe. A bit too early for a Bloody Osama, especially since I have a kinda/sorta job interview later. So, I'll just have a Coke and enjoy the company til then.
How's everybody doin' this fine Friday afternoon? Weather is glorious here in the Hill Country of Texas - sunny and 61 degrees.
To: cgk
You might want to investigate finding the tobacco in larger quantities.
My husband buys 1 pound bags for $12 which makes about 3 cartons, at the cost of the 3 boxes of tubes and it comes out to about $6 per carton.
When I can only find the 6 ounce bags it runs us $8 a carton.
anyway you cut, it's still better than paying all the taxes, etc!!!!!
