"I am still unsure about what Humpty Dumpty represented to me on that day, because I do not subscribe to -- and I even resent -- the theory that America's arrogance, even indirectly, led to the attacks. It just seemed as though the world were falling down, like Humpty Dumpty."

"I realized that I had become a New Yorker. I expect now that I'll always be one..." Chelsea, No you arent and you will never be! When you leave take momma and daddy with ya....You arent wanted here and neither are they, Your momma won because Rudy took himself out of the election and Poppa hangs in Harlem because they are the only ones who still believe his crap. Chels, where's the best place to get a bagel in the AM?? What blocks make up little Italy? What's an egg cream?? Who was the first manager of the Mets?? What streets make up Hell's Kitchen? or chinatown or the village?? ever been to Stuyvesant town?? or seen a game at the Rucker?? Taken a walk on the Brooklyn Promenade?? been to San Gennaro?? How bout the St. Patrick's day parade that mommy was afraid to march in? What subway line do you take from Manhattan to Yankee Stadium or what number is the line out to Shea? See you little witch, there is more to NYC than just Katie and Matt, Rosie and Broadway and all the artsy fartsy pinkie up parties on the upper west side! New York has a soul that you and your ilk will never understand, we are tough and ballsy, whiners are not allowed..You ever been elbowed out of the way for a cab by an old lady?? See its your mommy and daddy and people like them that made it impossible for my kids to grow up there the way I did, because they let the skels run the city. So we had to leave and go north!! So shut up and get out..You stooooooonad!! Fughhhhheaboutit!!!!!!

. . . I was expounding on the detriments of the Bush tax cut . . .Does she 'expound' like her mother - at you - instead of engaging in an exchange of conversation?
She sounds like a boring date.

Tell us how you really feel, Medic!
A most excellent rant, and one that gave me, a life-long Hoosier, a real feeling for New York City. Thanks!

Thank God the Clintons are not as prolific as the Kennedys. One festering family of left-wing inebriated, perverted Democratic demogogues is more than enough. I guess just one Chelsea to deal with is a bargain.

I have a better question for Chelsea, and I want the answer so bad I'm willing to buy TALK magazine to see if the answer is in there: Since you wuz staying in an apartment near Union Square, Chelsea, what on earth were you doing near Grand Central in the middle of a disaster? Why not just GO HOME after "wandering" down toward the WTC? Were you LOST, you faux New Yorker? Or did you just have a hankering for lunch at the Oyster Bar?

She "stared senselessly at the television," then headed downtown, where she heard a deafening rumble..."I was expounding on the detriments of Bush's tax cut as we approached Grand Central Terminal and were met with hordes of people running out of the station," some crying "Fire!" and "Bomb!" So after seeing the the first tower in flames on TV she was headed downtown "expounding on the detriments of Bush's tax cut"? I didn't start expounding on the detriments of Bush's tax cut until the second tower was hit. She really is a genius!

Whatever happened to the story that she was jogging around the WTC or WFC? Go to your local supermarket checkout line and take a look at the Star Magazine article about Hillary not divorcing Bill. In the article Hillary talks about Chelsea jogging and how her life was saved by stopping for coffee at Starbucks. LOL! The new version comes out while the old version is still on the newsstands!!!

Cheer up Chelsea. With Bush preoccupied with the war, he won't have time to encourage conservatives to chain blacks to the back of pick-up trucks and drag them to their death. The Bush plot to organize howling hordes of Christian extremists to murder homosexuals has been put on hold also. A masterpiece of a reply. I bask in your presence.

So after seeing the the first tower in flames on TV she was headed downtown "expounding on the detriments of Bush's tax cut"? I wonder if the thought crossed her mind, "Thank God American is not now paying for my mother's health care plan. How could we afford to help New York if we were?"

THE best I have seen. Thanks - my feelings as well.
