Also, if parents would stop whining, and being so fearful, and if they were more considerate of children, and do something mature and heroic, like shelter them from such things until they are more able to comprehend and conquer such concerns...
Good parenting is work, not comfort. Sorry, my generation. What you consider entertainment will some day rear up and bite. You reap what you sow. Too bad our children will have to pay the real price. "Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks." Out of the same abundance, we choose our entertainment. "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." What do we spend our disposable income on? What do we watch on T.V.? What are the lyrics of the songs we listen to? Where does it lead us? Do we really think it is all a joke, and we can resist the messages after years of exposure?
