Just in case, because this thread is now so long, you didn't see this on thread one, the news reports quoted the murdered deputy's partner saying that the suspect appeared to have had SNIPER training when he carried out the murder. He was lying in wait for the officers to enter the home where the shooting took place. This was no ordinary robbery, and if I remember correctly, nothing was taken.
