The video provides a look at this compound in the foothills above Fresno, CA. Pre 9-11, a Fresn County Sheriffs deputy was killed by a member of this peaceful Islamic community. The suspect (in the beginning trial phase still) broke into a empty nearby foothill home, when deputies arrived this guy was lying in the hallway floor with a rifle, and killed one deputy. This video is the first investigative reporting we have had on this Islamic community. The trail leads to FUQRA, a known terrorist group operating all over the world, and have several communities such as this one all over the USA. There is no evidence that the Fresno group has been involved in any terrorist activities, officials say.
The group, according to a federal source, is part of Fuqra, an organization whose name means "poverty" in Arabic and which has had compounds in several U.S. areas.
Some Fuqra members in other areas have been implicated in past years in domestic terrorist attacks, and the State Department has labeled the group, known formally as Jamaat ul-Fuqra, as "an Islamic sect that seeks to purify Islam through violence."
The group south of Fresno operates an 1,800-acre compound called the International Quranic Open University, which sits on the former site of the drug addiction recovery cult Synanon.
The compound, a series of mobile homes shaded by trees, also serves as a U-Haul rentals location. A resident there last week refused to talk to a reporter, referring inquiries to a Visalia attorney who did not respond to a message seeking information.
Authorities have been studying the compound since the Aug. 21 slaying of Fresno County Sheriff's Deputy Erik Telen. Officials charged 20-year-old Ramadan Abdur-Rauf Abdullah with murder in the killing, apparently stemming from a botched burglary at a rural home.
James Oppliger, Fresno County's chief deputy district attorney, said the suspect claimed he had been living at the compound seeking psychiatric treatment from the Quranic university.
Oppliger said he since has begun studying the group and its possible connections to other organizations.
(Zavia Books) is the bookstore for this Islamic compound. It is called Koranic Open University. Note the books being sold. One of them is prefaced by ( Sheik Mubarik Ali Shah Jilani [Gilani]) a known terrorist. The trail leads from Baladullah (actually Miramonte, CA) to Pakistan, where Sheik Gilani lives. He is the head of Fuqra.

Walker was taken under the wing of a Pakistani missionary named Khizar Hiyat, who had invited the impressionable Walker to join him on a drive to Nevada as he was spreading the word. After a brief return to Yemen, Walker traveled with Hiyat in Pakistan for a month before choosing the austere madrasa outside Bannu.
Is there any connection between Khizar Hiyat and the Islamic compound near Fresno or the other compounds!
It is not clear how Walker wound up in Afghanistan. A friend from a San Fran-cisco mosque told NEWSWEEK that he received an e-mail from Walker a month before he left Bannu for the “cooler mountains” in May of this year.

In regards to Johnny Jihad, I do know that one of the largest cells of Muslims who are friendly to Bin Ladin, according to the local media there, is in Fremont, Ca. which is not too far from Marin county. I do not know if they have one of these "villages" there or not. That is something we do need to see if we can find out, or if he was ever at this one in the foothills near my home.
Found this from a link posted above. I think it answers the question I had about Fremont, it is in Santa Clara county, not far from Marin County either.

Dear Mr./Mrs. Politically Correct,
I am a fairly regular listener to the news and talk shows. I have been hearing a very disturbing situation being “sold” to the public. The media, government officials, and talk show hosts included, have been telling us to accept the Muslims and the Islamic faith, that this religion is loving and peaceful. Although I do agree, not all the Islamic faith believers will totally abide by their religious teachings, ONE CANNOT IGNORE what the Holy Koran contains in its scriptural writings.
The Holy Koran contains explicit instructions, clearly spelled out for the behavior of the followers of the Islamic faith. It is pretty frightening to say the least. In particular, when you consider that an estimated one and one half billion people practice this faith world wide and with this nation having a large and growing representation of this faith, it is justifiably a major concern. I think the Islamic Holy Koran is well worth reading to properly understand why those of us that are aware of these teachings are in fear of the Muslim people. It is well justified and compounded by what we have just learned from the recent attacks on the east coast.
The fear is componded by learning of the long term planning that has been in place by the terrorists. Their disclosed assimilation manual giving instructions on how to work into our way of life without drawing attention to themselves, how to become one of us and avoid any suspicion has enabled them to become well entrenched and stratigically placed for their next activity. This plan has been in place for a number of years.
So now, the problem is, a terrorist could be your neighbor, in the seat next to you, living next door, friendly and even helpful at times. SO HOW DO YOU TELL JUST WHOM THE TERRORIST IS? They are here in this country, waiting for the window of opportunity to open so they can fulfill the goal specified by their leader and their religious teaching. Yet,the media , the government and the Pathetically Crazy are telling us to be politically correct.
Well - being politically correct will just probably wind up killing a bunch of innocent people. I do not have the answer and the Politically Correct advocate doesn’t either. But I do know that if we follow their instructions not to consider a Muslim as a possible threat we could wind up allowing another WTC or worse. We must continually be aware and keep every possible terrorist under suspicion whether it is politically correct or not. Ilegals should be deported immediately with reapplication considered after a background check is fully completed. If we offend these people, OH WELL, better to offend than having another life wasting attack. I would also add - they (Muslims) need to have an understanding about our attitude and concern for this nation. In my opinion, anyone not willing to comply is aiding the terrorists effort. OUR NATION IS AT STAKE, OUR CITIZENS INCLUDED!
And now it appears that we have a training ground for these Johnny Jihads right here in our back yard and cannot get an investigation going - at least not that we are aware of. I am at a loss to counter the media and the soft peddling being done for the Islamic religion. "Help, I am falling and I can't get up."
It is time that we end this PC crap, the liberals feeling bad/sorry for the Islamics, and those who worry more about the rights of these villagers, Johnny Taliban, and the potential terrorist we need to be interviewing, but certain American cities are not helping and are refusing to help interview the potent killers!

American in Taliban: Biological strike on U.S. near

An American Taliban fighter held captive by Marines in Afghanistan has told American officials that al Qaeda's next attack on the United States will take place in days and involve biological weapons, U.S. intelligence officials told The Washington Times.
John Walker Lindh, the Taliban guerrilla captured near Mazar-e-Sharif, said in intelligence debriefings at the U.S. Marine Corps base near Kandahar that "Phase II" of al Qaeda's war against the United States will occur at the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which ends Sunday.
Mr. Lindh told U.S. intelligence officials that the Ramadan attack will involve the use of biological weapons.
A third phase of al Qaeda's war on the United States will result in the destruction of the entire country, the Islamic convert stated.
The officials said they have questioned the credibility of Mr. Lindh's claim because of his relatively low-level position.
Still, the information was among other intelligence reports that led the Bush administration to issue a public warning last week about a possible terrorist attack, the officials said.
No other details were available about Mr. Lindh's debriefing. However, the intelligence about the impending attack is an indication Mr. Lindh may have been part of the al Qaeda network in addition to fighting on behalf of the Taliban militia. (Link to more possible terrorist attacks on US)">

Has he and his weapons been down to Fresno for a little firearm training in the past year or so?
This is a little out of the jurisdiction of the City of Fresno. In fact, it's not even in Fresno County. It is in Tulare County.
The Fresno Sheriff's Department did investigate the murder of their officer, which did occur in Fresno County, but they would have no cause or jurisdiction to look into anything else. If anything is going on up there it is up to the FBI to keep on top of it, and they aren't going to be telling us what they are doing.
