Please click on the following link and buy my book: Almost Conservative
It's only $11.95 and here's what you'll get:
- A fine piece of literature written by someone you almost know.
- Something you can set out on your coffee table to help you and your family look refined.
- Some enjoyment, probably/maybe.
And, if you get a copy of the book to me I'll sign it, because that's the kind of guy I am.
Now I know what you're thinking. You're thinking $11.95 is a lot of money. But if you are not completely satisfied with the contents of this book simply put it on your shelf next to the other books you no longer read or give it away or you can use it as a coaster. It's that simple. And besides that you've problably already spent more money than that at restaurants this week.
So come on and help a person whose down on his luck. There's a recession and the economy could use the boost. So, when you think about it that way it would probably be best if you bought two or more copies. They make great presents. Or, if you're taking a class at a college or something buy another couple of copies for the English department to review. And if you know anybody that publishes a magazine that does reviews you should really help out by buying one and giving it to them. And, finally, don't forget that this nation's public libraries are always in need of new books.
You know, I could sit here all day and think of people who could read this book. But the bottom line is, it depends on you and your response. So, like I said before, you can buy this book or you can let the recession continue and who knows what will happen. It's up to you. I hope you make the right choice.
And if you order now, you'll receive an extra bonus. It's something I like to call the hidden typo edition of my book. So, maybe poetry isn't your thing. But I'll bet word puzzles are. And that's what it will be like, a puzzle on each page that will keep you guessing for quite some time as to just where is the next typo.

Tell you what...call me on the telephone right when I'm sitting down to dinner like the magazine subscription jerks do, and I'll tell you to put me on your "don't call" list...you have the script down pat.

Can either of you point us to reviews/reviewers?
Barbara Olson's book is next on my "to buy" list, but I have at least added you guys to my list, (not next, though).

If you catch me at the right moment I might be drunk enough to do that, AD. But in return, we have a couple of nice bridges you folks might want to invest in when you get here!
