Did anyone see the professor of Arabian studies from Georgetown Univeristy on Fox News with Brit Hume last week? (I'm kicking myself because I didn't get his name). He said that of the 1200 mosques in the US, most have been built in the last 15 years with money provided by the royal Saudi family who practice the fundamentalist Wahhabi Islam, the one that keeps women down. I don't know their stance on jihad.
Brit and the prof were reviewing the disgraceful tape from inside a new Black Muslim meeting where an imam (mideastern) was spewing hate speech about America and Israel. Brit asked how common this was and the professor answered that it was not common, but it was not surprising. The prof was very honest and not spinning - quite refreshing.
It was most likely this same professor that said only about 20% of Muslims are radical fundamentalists and only a percentage of that pose a real danger. It was refreshing to hear, given that 20% of 10 million is only 200,000 potential terrorist for us to deal with.
