Break NY off north of Poughkeepsie. Dems in Troy, Syracuse, Buffalo, etc., will still be outnumbered by Pubbies elsewhere.

Doesn't it annoy you that REPUBLICANS always nominate a downstate RINO for office (as you know Pataki IS NOT from upstate, but from suburban Westchester).

with the Dems outnumbering Reps 5 to 1 in NYC.. you don't need fraud to win as a Dem... but it never hurt.

Supposedly Green ran an ad with the voice of a female playing the role of Bloomberg's ex girlfriend. She claimed in a lawsuit he said "kill it" when he knocked her up and they used her testimony for the ad. If it ran at the last minute it might be keeping conservatives home and not sure I blame them

Maybe, and I do mean maybe, (I am not convinced) that the early calls didn't cost significant votes in Florida, but I can tell you for a fact they did in my state of California. Our polls were still open for hours when the media declared Gore the winner, and lots of people did not vote because of that.
No one will ever convince me that was not done by design by the media acting in concert with their email buddy, Al Gore. He knew he was in danger of losing California.
Please, when they declared Gore the winner of Florida, Bush was in the lead there!

And the bulk of the cops can't afford to live in NYC, so they can't vote in this election.

Till then, good old "crusty suited thunder-thighs" is just trying to fleece us upstaters to keep her gravy train rolling along...

Prepare for a tax increase, NYC will need to be rebuilt, and Hillary will need to skim off a few million for the DNC.
I'm from upstate, and I said if we get one more democrat tax increase because of NYC, we're moving across border into Pa.

Why would a democrap run this type of ad? It makes Bloomburg into a liberal icon!
All the liberals would run to the polls to vote for a baby killer. He would be "one of them."

Yep, I know Bush was already in the lead. I was online watching the returns and Bush was up while they called it for Gore. As for California and the rest of the West, the only thing that might have changed would have been the popular vote. But hey: We all know the popular vote is merely a statistical observation with no relevance to the election of the president. When he presses you over this issue, IU suggest you Tell your neighborhood Dem that the popular vote don't mean nuttin. If he argues, remind him who is president.

It looks like Bloomberg

Really? I'm sure the libs will want to create votes and do a little voter psychic work, but did Bloomburg pull it off? (Kids on playstation, no TV right now)

Now up on Drudge:

Republican Bloomberg battled to catch Democrat Green to become next Mayor of New York City. Exit polls showed Green with 2% lead [49-47] throughout the afternoon, according to campaign sources. But a split in minority voters indicate a possible late-day tilt toward Bloomberg. Bloomberg pulled in 22% of black voters and was passing Green 48-46 among hispanics, according to one estimate...

Guess X42's last minute campaigning for Green is proving to be as worthless as he is! News reporting that Rudy is still campaigning with Bloomberg (began early this morning) greeting voters as they exit the subways.

I am praying like mad. I just KNOW Green will give Clinton some HUGE "ambassador-like" job where he'll have press conferences every single day!
