Someone ought to tell Drudge that the cross was probably like this

I don't care what you say..... This is historic.
To see this on Drudge.
I'm not sure what it portends.
These are indeed days where the surreal
and the supernatural are visibly present in our midst.![](http://drudgereport.com/cross.gif)
For the message of the cross is foolishness
to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved
it is the power of God.

to the Corinthians 1:17-19

I purchased a bronze cross similiar to this one in Kiev for about $35.00. I had to bribe Ukranian customs man $20.00 to get it through customs. The cross is 150 years old, and from another era...pre bolshevik. I visited a church in Kherson, which was a gymnasium under the soviets, and turned back into a church. But what was impressive were the beuatiful icons which were hidden and saved by the people from destruction by the atheists. Underneath the facade of communism, the people never stopped believing in Christ.
