EMMYS? Why would anyone watch degenerate do anything? This is a show business salute to show business. I might click through it if the Yankees look like they might win but I'd watch blue paint drying before I'd watch the emmys? I didn't realize that Rivers was still alive. I do like her daughter. She is proof that a homely female without humor or intellegence can accomplish, well, something, if her parents are connected. The daughter is a Heidi Fleisch look alike.

When has Joan ever been concerned with what is tactful?

Because of 911 this darned event was postponed several times because (from what I understand) the rumor mill was that OSB was out to get Hollywood because of the Jewish population.

When has Joan ever been concerned with what is tactful? I've seen/heard her performing "LIVE" and she's even raunchier. I'm no prude but still couldn't handle her tasteless mouth.

Unfortunately, the Series game will be over before the Emmy's taped-delayed broadcast on the West Coast is over. If I can be bothered to turn on the tv, I'll be watching that repeat of "Enterprise" that I missed on Wednesday. Any bets on whether they can we get through *this* awards show without politcal commentary?

I am sorry, my phone is ringing off the hook and I didn't hear any of Joan's comments. Why are they trying to act like 9-11 was all about them.
. GOOD GRIEF!!! Michael Michele ( who is a woman) is in a shirt with no buttons and was foolish enough not to glue it to her chest so it's flying open in the wind.

Yours are on the house, so don't be bashful. ;-) Me....bashful?????? :)

Didn't Melissa have a baby recently? She looks great! No wonder she's showing her tummy--apparently she's been working on those abs. (I'm still trying to lose mine five years later....)

Yes, was that not the tackiest outfit so far (Michael Michelle)? And it was a Carolina Herrera. I love Carolina Herrera's clothes, but I think there was more in her glass than kool aid when she was designing that look. Too bad too because Michael is an attractive girl.

Joan Rivers was born in 1933 (she's 68 years old), and yet there's not a wrinkle on her face! She looks good for her age. She has a much better plastic surgeon than Hillary!!

Hey!!!
I thought these vapid wigstands and mannequins were supposed to be wearing business clothes --- suits and ties and such! What's up with all these sequins?
Don't they know how many sequin-bearing animals have to die to make a single anorexic, dysfunctional freak's size-0 dress all glittery???

I agree, they were told to tone it down. Also I thought they were going to wear hearts of saphires and diamonds, or something, red, white and blue??? I am not watching but I haven't heard you all mention them yet.

Haven't seen many wearing the ribbons...

All over sequin garments are quite heavy too.
I hope none of them collapse under all that weight.

Everyone is wearing black. Boring clothes, boring hair, boring makeup, boring jewelry.
Did you catch a glimpse of Tyne Daley? For Pete's sake, put wheels on her, tow her behind a truck, and set her up in a lot at your local Chateau Estates. That woman is definately a double wide.
