"I had 2 or 3 of them when I was a kid, none of them 'took', I never got the scar like everyone else did." I know I must've had a small pox vaccine in the 1960's but I can't remember, and I have no scar that people are speaking about - the "scar" meant the vaccine took?

Check the inside of your arm, too. Mine is on the inside of my left arm, and the same for my siblings. Apparently my pediatrician didn't like the visible scar? I've read at FR that some individuals were vaccinated on the thigh, as well.

Someone please tell me if the scar I have on my arm means my vaccination "took".....and if I still have SOME immunity.
What I mean to ask is does the scar represent anything other than the fact that I was vaccinated?
What about others who were vaccinted and have no scar?
Serious request to anyone who has knowledge on these things.
GRITS lady.
