FBI Seeks van, possible bomb in mall?

Just reported on the 10 PM WBZ radio news broadcast:

FBI is seeking a rental type Ryder Van that was stopped trying to enter the parking garage at the Cambridge Mass Galleria mall at about 7 PM. When the back doors of the van were opened by security personnel, there were 6, 55 gallon drums duct taped to the vans walls along with gas type cans also taped to the walls.

The van then sped off. The FBI is asking for anyone seeing the van with possible license plate of 4789H7 to contact Police or the FBI.

It's right by the Charlestown Bridge, and very close to the Callahan tunnel that goes to Logan Airport. This is near downtown Boston, right across from Cambridge, so it's close to many other things

It's also right accross that bridge from the berth of the USS Constitution. If they took that, I'd say nuke 'em... but then again I already say that.

It's interesting that most of these things are occuring on the east coast, and the heart of liberalism. If this is an attack, one must consider the logic of the enemy. If they wanted to really fight, they would have chosen the conservative mid-west. They wanted some "easy pickins" so they went to the liberal east coast. Colateral contamination (by anthrax) to Indianapolis, Minneapolis, and MO mail stations were pure luck. They are going after the weakest (as they percieve) of the flock........liberals!

I've thought and studied our enemy. While he may be illusive, he is predictable. He is a coward, and he will go for the easiest target first. The weakest are going to be his targets. The Patriots are not the ones he wants to face. Look at the news and evaluate my hypothesis. What do you think?

I just realized, I can't hate any other American, not now, not ever again. They are my brothers. We MUST protect the east coast and stop the terrorist attack immediately!

When they first started chasing it they said it looked like it was going straight to the Coast Guard base.

I aggree, strategy is funny huh! When you stop to think about it they really are not as sophisticated as we might think just LUCKY, I honestly believe that Sadam Hussein is behind this as well , think about it President Bushes son is now in office besides I think he is holding a grudge!! Still one thing that bothers me tho we didnt finish the job in Saudi, I wonder if we will finish this one If not any one Intrested in splitting 7 million

I don't know where the Coast Guard base is, but what I understood from the scanner earlier was that they were identifying the truck location at the time as being near the base. I didn't hear them say that they thought it was headed toward the base.

It's hard for me to be sure, but I think all the things we're hearing now (K9 unit, etc.) are other (routine) calls. I've heard nothing from the officers who were going to look in the back of the truck.

They have a burning apartment building on right now. They haven't mentioned the Ryder truck since they got the driver on foot and switched to channel #2.
