Just reported on the 10 PM WBZ radio news broadcast:
FBI is seeking a rental type Ryder Van that was stopped trying to enter the parking garage at the Cambridge Mass Galleria mall at about 7 PM. When the back doors of the van were opened by security personnel, there were 6, 55 gallon drums duct taped to the vans walls along with gas type cans also taped to the walls.
The van then sped off. The FBI is asking for anyone seeing the van with possible license plate of 4789H7 to contact Police or the FBI.

Cousin was a genius, I guess. This MIT idiot wouldn't have gotten on another sub. Then that MIT idiot would've been shot as a deserter in a declared war.

Wait a minute, how can you duct tape a 55 gallon drum full of anything to the wall of a van? I suppose I'm ready to believe something like this might be true, but in this instance it just doesn't sound right.

"Beck said it's not unusual for an explosives-seeking dog to pick out something that doesn't contain explosives."Yea I saw one once chase down and "arrest" a couple of double-cheese burgers outta some dudes jeep at the training center in Forsyth GA once...

Van checked at mall for bombs, owner detained Wed., and today is Fri., and they may be looking for another?
May be those mall threats are just a little late.
Scary!
(I hate it when I join a thread so late.)

How long until people start talking about internment camps? Take a look at Peggy Noonan's latest on the Wall Street Journal. IMO vigilantism is more likely first. Only then will the feds step in with internment. Much the same thing happened in the North during the first six months of the Civil War.

How long until people start talking about internment camps?I don't know. But if and when they do, I'll be the first one yelling in their face.

Lima Mall parking lot for explosive
Seems like we have two stories here: one out in Lima, Ohio and the other near Boston.

Seems like a more popular mall to nail would be the Burlington Mall, not this one in Cambridge
Doesn't the Burington mall have exterior parking lots? I'm trying to think of any other malls in New England that have the parking right under the stores like Cambridge.... I think the Worcester and Providence malls have the parking garages attached on the side but not under the mall.

What is the story out of Lima?

i heard the update about 20 minutes ago, they stressed that numerous gas tanks were taped to the sides of the truck--didn't say the 6, 55 gallon tanks were.

"The FBI is asking law enforcement to stop and detail the driver and van of the rental truck."Oh yea... If I stopped him I'd detail him alright...

Internment would be the SAFEST thing that could happen...

I agree but this is Lima, Ohio!! I have a couple good friends who are in the know but won't be able to get any info until morning. We had an Egyptian guy working for us for awhile but they fired him because he didn't do anything. He supposedly had degrees in engineering but couldn't do jobs that even I can handle. He said he had no family here, that his wife was in Egypt and if he found a good job he was going to send for her. He seemed nice but was pretty odd.

I'm also going to buy the minimum I can for this Christmas unless I see the deportations start. As long as those people are here, they will try to kill us, they are following orders being given in some other country. As long as they continue killing Americans, the economy will fail. The approach taken of leaving enemy foreign agents in our midst is insane. You brought up an excellent point about the economy. Economic prosperity requires national stability and confidence to thrive. When you have thousands of Muslim terrorists running around the country trying to blow things up and kill as many people as they can, businesses and consumers are not surprisingly going to have much confidence to invest and spend. At what point GW and Congress get the message that some people of Middle East origin just don't belong here I just don't know. Its like the citizens of America are in a government rat experiment to see how much pain we can endure while going about our daily lives. They say: "Hey, Go about your lives but be alert, be extra alert, be extra, extra alert but live your life like normal". "Dont change anything in your live". "Dont let these terrorists, which we dont have the guts to get out of this country, get you down". What a sorry state of affairs.
