Listen, with all due respect, I know the commander of our local station personally. I live in Grand Haven, "Coast Gaurd City USA". The situation was not good under Bubba Xlinton, Coast guard boats and ships on the Great Lakes are NOT grounded because of lack of fuel.

But they have been, there were news articles about grounded Coast Guard vessels in Texas due to lack of fuel.

The point is that the Coast Guard is probably the most important of the Homeland Defense forces and has been woefully underfunded and underappreciated.
