Count me as one Mac user who thought that was a bum case from the start. That because of Bum in Chief Bill Clintoon's 'brillyunt' idea of splitting the company in two....
Count me as one citizen who is very glad to see him out of office.

Then you are a reasonable man.

It ain't over just yet...... the states have until Tuesday to review and decide whether or not to join the settlement.
My guess is that most of the states will sign onto the agreement. Some of the more strident ones -- California, Iowa, Connecticut, New York, etc -- will hang in there for blood. But they'll be sorely disappointed, not only because they'll have to carry the legal bills now but also because it will be obvious to the trial judge that they have been the sole impediment to reaching a suitable compromise.
Meanwhile, I'm patiently tapping my toe while I'm waiting for my MS Office X.......
They're working on it, they're working on it... ;-)

Hey, love those graphics! As a home Mac user and a work NT sufferer, I like it! Also, thanks for stopping KBZ's antagonism-for-fun. He does so enjoy getting a rise out of anybody saying good things about Apple. He just doesn't realize that Disney is a Mac shop.

For the first time in it's history, Microsoft will actually have to compete in the marketplace! Instead of just getting lawyers bribe or threaten distributors, they'll actually have to compete. You can use whatever tactics you want to fill a store with anything, but it doesn't mean a thing unless people want to buy it. I have yet to see anyone forced to buy MS products.
BTW, I've also used Mac for the last 7 years, and still find it annoying. Here they are, up to OS X, and they haven't figured out how to put more than one button on a mouse yet???
PC/MS user by choice...

PC/MS user by choice...Hmmmm. By your screen name, I see that you were a Dem by choice at one time, too.
Maybe you will someday be an exPC/MS-UserMom some day (by choice, of course).
Cheers, CC :)
