It handles all our scrap metal on the way to Japan. I did some work at the power station out on the harbor once and saw a damn big parking lot filled with Toyotas fresh off the boat from Japan. At least they turn that scrap metal into cars now, not battleships.
But one Japanese battleship is less damaging to our econmy than one hundred thousand cars ...... and four hundred thousand containers of imported Japanese electronics.
