This bridge between L.A. and Long Beach was made famous in the film "Gone in 60 Seconds" starring Nicholas Cage.

Actually, there is no bridge between LA and Long Beach. There are two bridges from LA and one bridge from Long Beach to the shared real estate called Terminal Island.

The smallest of these three, the one that goes from north to south and the only one that is actually a "draw bridge", was the one that was in the movie. The other two bridges are huge and fixed, with the Vincent Thomas "suspension bridge" being the largest.

Thanks for clarifying my post.

Great view from atop that bridge, huh?

I moved from Long Beach back to Portland, Oregon in December.
