The worst mass murder in US history occurred in certified guaranteed "gun free zones", and was pulled off by a handful of arab moslems armed with box cutters.
"Which way to the boxcars sir?"
Disarmed, you follow orders, or you die. Or you follow orders AND you die.
The gun ban resulted from the actions of one maniac.
If you visit Port Arthur you'll see a memorial to the victims of the crime,
but you'll not see or hear mention as to what the crime was:
The Port Arthur Massacre "It is too painful. Australia is the lucky country, and this sort of thing does not happen here."
The atmosphere surrounding this act is such that if you talk about it, you risk being thought of as a tin hat wearing, right wing fanatic.
I am convinced that soon, no one will allowed to remember WWII, as all history will be scrubbed of
"painful imagery" to the benefit of the children and peace of mind for the rest.
