In light of the Daffodil Principle where individual efforts over time add up to a mammoth contribution, we are looking at ways to use this lesson as we seek to promote conservatism, the Republican Party and the administration of George Bush.

We are currently involved in a letter-writing campaign - Project Daffodil-Letters. Some of us have been involved in the Klamath Falls Petition, and the People First petition to defund the Endangered Species Act. ...Chris Matthews was being VERY POSITIVE when he talked about THE PITCH at the world series Tues night. He said it was like living through a scene in "Dave". He went on to say that this whole period since Sept 11th is like living through that movie....a resurgence of American pride and patriotism inspired by a likable president!!! Now I ask you...could any of us have said it better? GO GW "Dave"BUSH!

Good morning, it is amazing that movie would come to mind. I was thinking before GW went out to do the pitch, it would be great if he had a double. President Bush seems to be fearless in the face of trouble. We need the example of courage to keep on keeping on.

Your comments on stopping smoking reminds me of a conversation I had yesterday with a friend who is not a Freeper but a Conservative who is just overjoyed with Bush and hated Clinton as President.

She told me that she thinks there will be no liberals left after all this stuff about the Clintons come out and that the liberals turned Republican will be the worst/best kind-just like reformed smokers who become non-smokers. In other words, truly committed to Conservativism. I do not share her optimism but I did have fun picturing the analgy.
