Supposedly there is more than one picture of an area near the WTC taken shortly before the collapse where many of those who lost hope fell. The pictures of the area have been suppressed by the news organizations whose employees took the photos. A friend of mine who works for a prominent NYC paper says his editor saw the photo, and described it as a scene out of a slaughterhouse. Could be an urban myth, but this tactic wouldn't surprise me. There are many people in the country for whom a number - 5,000; 6,000, means nothing, who have no conception of how large those buildings are. Information like this is necessary to galvanize and maintain public opinion in support of this war.

They did not "lose hope", they jumped in hope.

There is a book that was recently released titled: "911: Terror in America" that may have details other sources are not publishing.

The author was recently on TV and this is how I learned of the book. Bill Bresnahan is the author. He is a retired SWAT team member. He arrived shortly after the collapse and gives accounts of the rescue and recovery efforts. Some of what he recounted on the show is chilling and truly needs to be told.

I am not associated with this publisher and have no interest in the book. Merely sending along the informatin.
