Thank you for caring enough to remind us of the absolute horror of that choice so many made on that infamous day. It is astounding and heartbreaking. And your post adds that raw reality of what it looked like-the sheer terror that causes someone, just begining a normal day in their lives. to jump to his or her death, preferring the fall to burning alive.
