..... men get AIDS from women in Africa and other developing nations, but they do not get AIDS from women in the developed worlds a difference that has not been adequately explained.

Of course it has.

Thousands of times.

Africa's "AIDS" is not!

Instead, to increase their ability to beg and to line up at the international public trough [Read: At the squandering of the confiscated wealth of America's (IE: Of the world's) most creative, innovative and productive!] Afica's gummints and the European-based criminal organizations [AKA "NGOs"] that assist their larceny, have changed the diagnosis of "AIDS" to EXCLUDE the HI virus -- and to include every African illness -- many of them caused by Africa's obscene politics -- known to medical science! And lots that are not so known!

Aids can also be transmitted through needle-sticks, and men can give it to women. In Africa, the public "health" system may be largely to blame. When giving vaccinations, the common practice for years was to line people up, and use the same needle until it was too blunt to pierce the skin. Sometimes they would put a bowl of bleach on a table, and clean the needle in that. Other times, they would simply fill the syringe with multiple doses, and continue to dose people until the syringe was empty.

Brian's point about loosening the definition of aids is also correct. In most instances, the person who contracts aids already has a decreased immune system because of other diseases. In the US, homosexual males frequently eat each other's feces, and "gay bowel syndrome" was well-known throughout San Francisco prior to the aids outbreak. In Africa, frequently people bathe, urinate, crap, and drink within yards of each other in lakes and rivers. In almost all cases of "heterosexual" aids, you'll find other factors, such as drug abuse, hemophilia, bisexuality, or other "dirty" sexual techniques (those which transmit feces, etc, from one person to another.)
