Today I got two emotional calls from my Congressman who is a friend.
He was shaken, mad and hurt, because he had received an Email from me that said that he was a traitor to America and deserved a three month vacation in Afganistan.
Needless to say I did not send that email, and the conversation was left that we would visit this weekend when he was back in town.
Well guess what folks, I sent an Email, not to my Congressman but to Rep. Cynthia McKinney (GA) after she apologized to the sheik for turning down the ten million he offered to NYC.
STOP CALLING IT THE NUGENT SPEECH!!! AAAAUUUUGGGHGHHHHAAAIIIIEEEEEE!!!
Oh! You mean the George Carlin speech! :-)
lol, I guess congresspeople didn't like getting letters from anyone who isn't their constituent.
Whilst on the subject, one can only imagine what volume of email Congresscritters and Senatos get now that it doesn't cost anything or take much time to send?
FREEPERS NEED TO BE REMINDED THAT IF IT IS AN EMAIL FROM OUT OF THE DISTRICT, THAT THE EMAIL IS GOING TO BE BOUNCED BACK TO THE CONGRESSMAN FROM WHENCE IT CAME FROM!
BCC only go (individually and without all the other addys displayed) to one receipient at a time.
I make it a habit to only use BCC...keeps everyone's addy private so it isn't spread all over the net (and that's a prob. sending jokes and stuff as "forward to"....all the thread and addys go with it!
