There has been great disappointment on the opposition side - and equal relief among the Taliban - that the American front-line raids have so far been relatively restrained. Reports from Taliban-controlled areas suggest that the militia are constantly on the move to avoid being hit.

I think all those Congressmen should keep their traps SHUT! Why should we show our whole hand to those clowns all at one time? Let them get complacent before we go in whole hog! Sounds like their going to be developing some respect for US might in the next few weeks. Who knows, maybe that carpet bombing will also set off some of those mines that have been sitting there for the last few years; fewer that our guys will have to deal with!

Some elected 'officials', votes means more to them than the welfare of this nation. As for carpet bombing I would like to see the bombs that break into little bombs and really wipe them out, bomber flying wing tip to wing tip and bombing over and over, day and night, non stop.
