***Wasabi = Japanese rocket fuel.

Here in New York we just call it booze.***

Perhaps you're thinking of Saki. Wasabi is a spicy paste. Good stuff.

**To warm himself up at night, he puts wasabi into a cup of Saki and then microwaves it before he drinks it! Just thinking about it, raised my body temp about 4 degrees! The same guy pours jabanaro hot sauce on and into 5 alarm chili!**

Seriously????

I love wasabi but in small amounts and always mixed with soy sauce. Great over sushi.

Seriously???? Yep! The first time I saw this happen, I had to go for two Zantacs for my stomach just from watching it! This guy is cold all the time. I make a very hot chilli re spices and he brings his Habanero bottle to move my chilli up to his standards!

We love it over sushi and buy the wasabi dry and wet mixed for carryout sushi!

Wasabi paste on top of pan cooked pork chops. Mmmmm good, and good for your sinuses as well.

True, but part of why I'm always glad to get back to the US is that we don't (didn't) have to put up with that sort of thing.

Unfortunately, they (both the terrorists and the sheeple)want to make us put up with all of that, and right now, they are winning. I don't know how we are going to stop them, but we must find a way. Every time that they hold passengers on a plane for two hours, they drive another nail in the coffin of the airline industry. There are enough real Americans left who won't take that kind of treatment. If it continues, the airlines will have no passengers.

They tried for that one at the Y2K celebration.

IIRC, they never did target the Space Needle. I keep hearing that Ressam's explosives were destined for LA Airport.

Anyway, they never should've kept the people away from the Space Needle during the Millenium celebration. Seattle Center (which surrounds the Space Needle) was a restricted access area, with a limited # of entrances, all of which were guarded. Instead, a couple thousand of us ended up watching the fireworks (such as they were) from the sidewalks along the streets that surround Seattle Center. IOW, we were all much more exposed & vulnerable to a carbomb than we would be if we had all been inside the Seattle Center grounds.

(My pet peeve against mayor Schell. :-)

Is anybody watching the Space Needle? They tried for that one at the Y2K celebration. They will try again. Just like they made 2 attempts at the WTC.

No, not really. Testimony from the FBI and the culprit (I think his name was Ressam) indicated that his real destination was further south at LAX. It is wishful thinking on the part of local officials that he would head to the space needle.

"See we're important, they wanted to bomb us! Now give us some federal funds to beef up our local police."

"True - The Phillipines / Indonesia is a hotbed for muslim fanatics (of any nationality). I believe there are still some US hostages being held there."

There were three Americans being held. They cut the head off one, now, there's only two Americans captive. Isn't Islam great!
