Thank you Brigette. Why doesn't the news media show these compelling images every day to remind everyone just why we are at war. The scale of this is overwhelming. My heart aches for the victims and their families.

Why don't you start a thread each day for photos of the WTC and link threads like this.

The last week or two I have been dismayed and fed up by these unpatriotic liberals, anti-war protestors, and the treasonous media telling me that two more children have been killed by colateral bombing in Afghanistan. They never never say, but think of the thousands of men women and children killed in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.

I don't think this would be disrespectful to the people who died in the WTC, but more of a tribute to them.

I am glad you like the pictures. My hubby works for the Army Corps of Engineers, he has 27 years in with them. He is not at Ground Zero or at the Pentagon. I just happened across these picture archives tonight while surfing, he probably doesn't even know they are there. Also you would think I would learn how to spell "Corps", I always forget the "s" on the end since you do not pronounce it with the "s" on the end. So please forgive my poor spelling.

Some of these pictures are some of the best I have seen. I would imagine that they will make more archives as time passes. There is a lot of work there that still has to be done. I hope God is watching over these workers and that they will make it through the recovery and clean-up process. We American's need to support these brave men and women long after the recovery and clean-up is over with.
