The pilot called police yesterday when he couldn't find the car in Lot F at the airport, where he left it Oct. 19
I'm married to a pilot. We've had 2 cars in airport parking since July. It's quite common for pilot's cars to be left for long periods. Fortunately my husband isn't stupid enough to leave his passport in the car.

The Newark airport and parking are nightmares. I'm not surprised the car was stolen at Newark.

We've had 2 cars in airport parking since July. What are the odds that those cars will start when needed? Here in Florida, my vehicles hardly turn over if left for more than a week.
On a more serious note, I wonder if Lot F is an employee parking lot. This seems like another serious airport security problem.

We've had 2 cars in airport parking since July. I would gander a guess they are not in Newark, or you may only have one and a half, or one car left.
A number of years back, they actually put a car up on blocks and stole the wheels off the car. That was
quite awhile ago, so maybe things have changed--or maybe not--now that they this pilot's car was stolen.

Well now I know why the airlines are going broke, if a pilot can afford to leave 2 cars for months in an airport parking lot, they obviously must be getting paid a heck of a lot! After a few months where I park, I would let them keep the car rather than pay the bill.....
