Haim Avraham (C), the father of kidnapped Israeli soldier Benjamin Avraham, reacts after he receives news of the fate of his son in Bnai Brak October 29, 2001. Israel said on Monday three soldiers seized by Lebanese Hizbollah guerrillas in a cross-border raid a year ago were probably dead. "Our working assumption has changed. We assumed until today they were alive. Our assumption from now on is that they are dead," Major-General Gil Regev, the army's personnel chief, told a news conference in Tel Aviv. REUTERS/Nir Elias |

This father is in tears, not celebrating that his son now has his 72 virgins. What am I missing?
Oh, yeah. He's an Israeli, not one of the savages or their kin.

It is important to note that the UN forces were also implicated in the raid...they even had Video of the abduction. The UN is a SORRY organization....rotten from the top down....

How common is the surname Avraham over there? My old boss was an Avraham, and between seeing this and reading on 9/12 that there was an Avraham on one of the doomed 9/11 flights, I worry that they might actually be relatives of his.
