This is as I received it via email earlier today. The sergeant makes many important points regarding the practical limitations of use of chemical and biological agents in warfare, and the real dangers of the use of these weapons- psychological terror and panic. If we know what is possible, and what is not, and what to do and not to do, the effective terror produced by these weapons is greatly reduced. Nuclear weapons, in the sergeant's opinion, are the "the only weapons of mass destruction on earth." Anyone with military or scientific experience in these fields is encouraged to add to, constructively contest, or confirm what is written here. To be forewarned is to be forearmed.

Thanks for the excellent post.  The more informed we are the less there is to fear, within limits of course.

It is not we who should fear attacks by these methods, but the terrorists who should be quivering in their sandals.............because we are coming for them and they will be dispatched in due course!!
