I they don't like being profiled than maybe they should pack the old camel and go back where they came from.

Whatever you do, don't profile. Mrs. TC and myself flew a couple of weeks ago to Vegas, and it seemed everyone in the airport was profiling, at least the passengers.
As we scanned faces in the crowds at the gates, etc. we both noticed most people doing the same.
We used the term 'towels' (towelheads) as our code word. As in, 'have you seen any towels?'.

Both Ashcroft and Mueller did look extremely serious - even more so than usual.
Anyone think they know more than they told us?
To: RaceBannon
Race, Ashcroft looked absolutely terrified. His face was ghost white, maybe its my T.V. I just think he looked really bad.
Maybe your tipster the other day was speaking because he knows something.

The news conference was short. F.B.I. Director was present also but did not add any additional information. All 18,000 police agencies in the U.S. have been notified and American citizens have been advised to be on heightened alert. No specificities were given other than what I have stated. Semper Fi, Mike

Who's to say how many problems were averted as a result of the last warning?!! I contacted the FBI about a suspicious neighbor. When they ran the information, red flags went up. He has now been deported.

Does it count if they profile or stereotype themselves?

Ah, the weekly warning, yawn. Who would have figured that terrorism could be so boring?...
To: Mixer
What would you rather they do, not tell you? Then would you whine about that afterwards? Grow up, things are different now. If they knew specifics they would handle it themselves. They don't know specifics so we are to be "on guard".

Ya Think?

I will profile ... Profile and "full frontal" too.
To: NYer
