Does anyone think that by making this alert, it continues to instill national unity and thus, solidifying us behind the war effort as it starts to wane?...I didn't say that I think that..I was just wondering if anyone else thinks that.

What he really said was that we should comply with Law Enforcement's activities, basically if we do what the cops say, we will be helping the fight against terrorism.

spectre...don't you think if he knew that he would tell us? Come on. Let's put our thinking caps on here: we have Halloween, the World Series in NY, etc etc etc. You think the terrorists are gonna say,

"Oh yeah, and by the way, we're gonna hit the World Series at 8:05pm on Tuesday. OK? Just so ya know."
