I thought the alert was that we would be terrorized by John Ashcroft at a Press Conference....didn't think it would be about other terrors.....I get terrorized when I hear him WIMP out on things....

Unless Ashcroft is more specific than before, he is just covering his and Bush's precious ass, and whatever he says should be translated as:

"Something bad may happen and we don't want the voters to think the federal government failed to warn them, or is helpless, incapable and panicking. And please don't vote for McCain in the 2004 primaries or Leiberman in the 2004 general election."
