[history]
Fearing charges of religious persecution, the FBI for years has hesitated to investigate radical Islamic clerics in the United States despite evidence that their mosques have been used to recruit and fund suspected terrorists, present and former law enforcement officials said.
Even after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, "the veil of religion that has been draped over mosques . . . will be tough to move off," an FBI official said last week. "The Arab American community can become enraged and beat on the FBI."

funny that these jackholes can be so squeamish when it comes to this, yet that they have no problem with things like burning 80 americans alive in their church, shooting women holding babies, burng down neighborhoods, confiscating property, jailing people who ride snowmobiles on public land, etc etc.
There's not a man among any of them.

This is laughable. the FBI fears charges of religiouis persecution? ROFL! Apparently, this was not a concern at WACO where they burned 20 children to death! This bunglining Bureau of bad information is still stuck on the ole "right wing conspiracy" crusade as they lamely try to blame right wing groups for the anthrax attacks. Even an idiot can see that the anthrax is weapons grade and was mailed on 9/11...duh. They have gotten away with so many brazen lies, they think they can say anything and no one will know the difference! ABOLISH THE FBI!

I don't know what the FBI could be thinking...I remember the first case at the Tabloid in Florida...some of the people there remember receiving a silly love letter...that contained a soapy, powdery residue and a cheap plastic star of David symbol in it...(if I remember correctly) and some workers said that a former intern said that he would be leaving them something...later the former intern would also seek treatment for antrax. Bin Laden and others would blame Israel for the terrorist attacks on America...I think they better be looking for muslims.

Somehow I have been friends with the extremes of both the left and right and both ends say the problem with the fbi is that they spend all their time investigating innocent citizens of this country. This is just one more instance that seems to confirm it.
