A lot of aging veterans on the Arizona team who deserve a World Series ring and just might earn one now.

I demand a re-count, and re-re-count! There must be something wrong here becaue this win is illegitimate! The layout of the stadium was too confusing! All the re-plays must be scrutinized for accuracy, and the people scrutinizing the videos should only be die-hard Yankees fans! Where's Jesse Jackson? Where's Diane Feinstien? We need the Supreme Court to decide this!

Could it be that the Yanks have run their course? They now have to win 4 of the next 5, 3 of which will be against Schilling and Johnson. The Yanks are the sentimental favorites, but as a Dodger fan I go with the Snakes.

I think now that Hillary is senator of NY, the Yankees are screwed.

I think it's over. "Curt the Hurt" is locked in - he can win Game 4 and Game 7 if need be. He is one of those rare pitchers who can win on willpower alone.
Yes, it's weird that Brit loves baseball, but I do. ;)

Why do they call it the World Series when it is just a load of Yanks playing each other?
Tiddly-winks is more of a sport than baseball (or rounders as we Brits call it).

The pitching duo of Schilling and Johnson reminds me of the 1963 pitching duo of Sandy Koufax and Don Drysdale of Los Angeles who back then obliterated the '63 Yankees. May Arizona be as successful as the '63 LA Dodgers!
