A lot of aging veterans on the Arizona team who deserve a World Series ring and just might earn one now.

I demand a re-count, and re-re-count! There must be something wrong here becaue this win is illegitimate! The layout of the stadium was too confusing! All the re-plays must be scrutinized for accuracy, and the people scrutinizing the videos should only be die-hard Yankees fans! Where's Jesse Jackson? Where's Diane Feinstien? We need the Supreme Court to decide this!

Could it be that the Yanks have run their course? They now have to win 4 of the next 5, 3 of which will be against Schilling and Johnson. The Yanks are the sentimental favorites, but as a Dodger fan I go with the Snakes.

Go D'backs!

Ask the Oakland A's .. who won the first 2 games against the Yanks a couple of weeks ago.
It aint't over till it's over.

D backs did what they had to do, but we could easily be looking at 2-2 by Wed. nite.

Speaking of the international bitch, the story of her running thru the airport security check, hitting the cop with her car and putting him in the hospital, STILL, to my knowledge, has not appeared in Gannett's Rochester, NY daily Demoncrap & Kronikle fishwrapper. Nor has Hitlery's Rochester "office" been taking calls--about ANYTHING. The demo-twit who was answering the phone has lost her voice. Now, "You can leave a message after the tone". I left a couple messages all right! (716-263-6250.

A Red Sox fan can only hope someone else can get it done. Don't ask me to pity you. I'm a Cubs fan who is finally getting to see Mark Grace play in a World Series. I'll just close me eyes and pretend the D-Backs are the Cubs.

...and to add to the New York misery, the magnificent Giants are only one game ahead of the worst team in the NFL!
My prediction: All New York fans will once again migrate over to Uniondale and magically transform into Islander fans. Losers...

I think it's over. "Curt the Hurt" is locked in - he can win Game 4 and Game 7 if need be. He is one of those rare pitchers who can win on willpower alone.
Yes, it's weird that Brit loves baseball, but I do. ;)

"...and to add to the New York misery, the magnificent Giants are only one game ahead of the worst team in the NFL!" Hey! I, a true-blue, die-hard 'skins fan, take umbrage at this slur! I believe the Detroit Lions are worthy of this honor! They are 0-6 as of yesterday!

D backs did what they had to do, but we could easily be looking at 2-2 by Wed. nite. Assuming the Yanks win Game 3 (a valid assumption, IMHO), Game 4 will be the key to the series. If the Yanks can steal one against Schilling, all bets are off.
If the Yanks lose that one, they HAVE TO win 3 straight, two of which will be against Johnson and Schilling...not likely, even for the heroic Yankees.
