A cruelty-free condom has been launched to cater for the much neglected vegan market.
The range of condoms has been manufactured using no animal ingredients or derivatives, in line with vegan beliefs.
Traditionally the processing of latex, used to make condoms, has involved the use of casein - a milk protein.
Vegans shun milk because its production involves breeding calves destined for the meat industry, which they regard as cruel.
But the range from German manufacturer Condomi utilises cocoa powder instead and has been awarded the Vegan Society's seal of approval.
Vegan Society general manager Richard Fairhall said: "Much to their frustration vegans in the UK have long been denied access to a cruelty-free condom.
"The launch of Condomi's range changes all that - no longer will vegans have to suppress their natural instinct to make love not war."
Condomi condoms are available through the Family Planning Association and are soon to go on sale in Superdrug stores priced from £1.99 for a pack of three.<
You two lovebirds want to keep that conversation under wraps?!?
GET A ROOM!
Under wraps, well it is a condom thread....
And what squire might that be........
And why would it matter.....
No problem, my sweet. You can be medievil with me anytime......
Did you like the movie?
You can be medievil with me anytime......
I think, this time, I'd rather you be medievil with me...
Hey Vegan! Wanna help me try these out?
That can be arranged, my sweet.......
Oh really, you think so, princess...
Definitely............
You have doubts?
I once drove through Missouri, you know, the show me state ;-)
I am hurt, truly, that you would have doubts.
You know me better than that......
It was never my intention to hurt you, my lovely
I merely thought that a little taunting might, well nevermind.
Taunting brings out the beast in me..
Are you sure you want to do that?
