Isn't This Sort of Stuff Illegal? (A Wierd Web Site)

I was doing a net search for a reply to dighton's post on the raelians. So I put in "Donna Kossy" who wrote a book on kooks to see if she had a website. I followed one of the links which had a lot of different assorted kook links and found a link to the "Young Foot Lovers Association."

The address is "http://www.tyflas.org/" and there is like four pictures of little girls, maybe 5 to 7 years old with bare feet on the home page. I did not go any deeper into it. Isn't this kind of stuff illegal? If it isn't it ought to be IMHO.

I did not know whether to post this or call the FBI. This looks like a sicko site if I ever saw one. What do you guys think.

No its not nekkid skin that disturbs me. Its that these were kids and this site seems dedicated to this. What kind of perv enjoys looking at kid's bare feet? If it ain't kiddie porn, its darn sure got to be a gateway.

That site you posted, AFAIK, shows bare feet only.

If you went to that website, you better clear your cache, clear your browser history and delete the deleted files from your recycle bin. Under existing laws, you can be arrested and thrown in jail for having child porn on your computer. I believe the law extends even to having child porn related URL's in your browser history. I say this not to be alarming or overly paranoid, but all it takes is one phone call to the FBI from an enemy of yours and they can seize your computer and search your hard drive. I have no doubt good people have been framed up in such a way.

Thanks. I did not download anything. I did not even go in because it looked so sick. Maybe it is a sting place, I don't know. I think I will look for an FBI link to report it. If they are not monitoring it, they ought to be.

If the images turn out to be considered child porn, your browser has left a copy of them on your hard drive. I wouldn't leave them there if I were you, just in case someone (like a computer repairman) happens across them and decides to make an issue of it. If you're using Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then Internet Options. On the window that comes up, there's an area that says "Temporary Internet Files". Click the "delete files" button in that area. That will purge the images.

The Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodeson 1832 - 1898 under the psudonym Lewis Carol (Alice in Wonderland author) and resident mathematician at Oxford was renowned for photographing little girls in his chambers in the nude.

Dodeson was also an early chad puncher, who in 1851 became chapel monitor on entering Christ Church College Oxford, that is he checked off the attendance by pricking a hole next to the names on a list.

It is also fitting that our bill should extend these great traditions while whiling the time away at Oxford.
