Unidentified gunmen on motorcycles have shot dead at least seven Christians in Pakistan. Dozens more are reported injured.
The attack took place during a service at a Roman Catholic church in the eastern town of Bahawalpur.
Six men rode up to the church and fired at worshippers.
This is reported to be the first such attack on Christians in the area, near the border with India.

Gee... wonder which will stay in the news? Us bombing our own wheat in a storehouse or people being killed by radical muslims in Pakistan?

I say, give the whole country to India. We don't have time to sort it out.

Do you really think India would want the animals in?

Sorry, we just lifted sanctions. We're going to send them 500 million dollars, not bombs.
Remember, the Pakis only have to be seen supporting America.
If India takes these miserable, double-dealing people out of existence tomorrow, I honestly believe I would cheer.

Has the spokesman for these attackers claimed yet that their fight is not against Christians?

I think that Sharriff (sp?) will not be able to hold Pakistan together. I hope I am wrong. If he does, and the Taliban succomb, it is simply another sh%^hole that we are embroiled in. It seems to me that we have all the resources we need (if we would use them), it seems to me that we have the dreamers, (if we would listen to them) that we really are capable of leaving these problems in the dust of history.
its late, i am tired. But when I sleep, I dream of new worlds, so close I can taste them. Perhaps I am wrong.

Everyone who thinks the Pakistanis are our friends raise your hand. Anyone? Anyone? Okay, anyone who thinks the Pakistanis are tolerant of Christianity raise your hand. Anyone? Anyone?

My mom's best friend went to Pakistan as a missionary back in the '40s. It's a horrible hateful place; Christians' lives are always in danger there. When people hear these things, do they also take time to think about, and appreciate, the religious freedom we have in America? We take it for granted, but it, like everything else right now, is so fragile.
