In NYC if you work outside of white collar, construction or law enforcement shoulder length hair is part of the uniform.

Race: I personally would be totally "freaked" by this brief encounter. It may be that this.........errrrr, uhhhhhhh.......gentleman is just another example of the human flotsam and jetsam that one encounters in our cities; and I've had my encounters with these types too! At any other time his comments would either make you laugh or, apprehensively, walk a little faster. Now, my Spidey-sense is tingling!

Ching! That's what I'm concerned about too. These attacks have been carried out for
maximum effects to entertain the Jihadist low lives. They want attention brought on their
dirty deeds. Attacks are often on MAJOR symbols of the American way of life.

These criminals may be looking to inflict major harm at our cherished sports event,
like the World Series. Time for all Americans to take this war personally.

There's a memorial service in Manhattan today, I believe it's going to be at the WTC site. If the vermin are planning something for it, hopefully the cops and the FBI will be able to nip it in the bud.

"Freepers are famous for taking pictures at these events. Any crowd shots featuring this guy? I agree with PA Mom - phone the FBI tip line. Think how terrible you would feel if ten days from now this guy's picture shows up on TV as the perp of some big new terrorist attack.

This sounds like good advice to me. There may be nothing to it, but I can't help thinking about that kid in the classroom who pointed to the WTC and said "those two buildings won't be there next week".

I don't think you need to worry about this guy being a terrorist, because if he was then I doubt he would be telling people about an attack that's going to occur. Either this guy's a nut or he really knows something will happen Monday. The FBI is probably getting numerous threats daily of more attacks that are planned. It doesn't hurt to let the FBI know about this though. Could be the guy that talked to you works for the FBI.

Reflecting on the incident, I believe the lurker knew we were opposed to the views of the peaceniks and felt comfortable mouthing off . He sounded like he was frustrated and offended by the peaceniks.

After he made the statement did you not question what he meant??? I'd never have let him walk away after hearing that. You remind me so much of the men in my family who never question, whereas a woman is more apt to ask why he said what he said.
