The title says it all !!!
I hve heard various claims that Remote Viewing is the greatest discovery since sliced white bread. But if it's such a marvelous weapon, why are we not using it in defense of the USA ??? Or are we ???

I just took a look at the foundation. Maybe not. Besides, I was thinking of a place near Cloudcroft.

Moving as soon as I sell my house. You want to buy a house with no mice? No, our house must have mice, otherwise the cats will chase the humans!

Considering the military spent years and lots of money working on it, either it does or they've wasted a lot of tax payer's money. Hard to decide which choice I'd prefer to be true.

Thanks for the "Remote Viewing" link, I browsed it, looks like a good source when I'm running low on tin foil, lol.

, stands by his belief that not only does it work but that it can be taught to the lay person.Wander if a person who can't even make a rear view mirror work be taught "remote viewing"? ;-)

So, how do you tell when blue cheese is bad?I don't think it goes bad. It was invented by cheese eaters so they could always eat cheese.

The US govt has been spending money on looking for right wing militias, fighting cyberterrorism and creating remove viewers (Yes they actually spent money on that!). What they missed was the actual terrorists waltzing in under their noses!

I'm gonna get flamed by the standing reputation of remote viewing, et al., but there is credible scientific evidence supporting this research-- believe it or not. It's not tin foil hat stuff, although 99% of what you read about it
IS tin foil hat stuff.
I've worked daily with a man named James Spottiswoode for 6 years now on a private venture between he and I, and our investors. He was the Director of Research for the parapsychology program bought and paid for by the CIA which is now defunct and no longer funded. I work with him on a venture that has nothing to do with parapsychology. (By parapsychology, I'm not reffering to 1-900-psychic numbers. I'm talking about credible, double blind research into some fascinating bizzarre stuff.)
If you are mathematically and statistically inclined, you might find www.jsasoc.com an interesting place to pick up some published white papers on the subject from a genuine scientist and his associates from the famous "Rand Corp." in California-- not a goof ball operation.

I saw a show on Discovery Channel about it. Our military used remote viewing. It was based out of Ft. Meade in Maryland.
It was started because the Soviets were using psychics as well as China. Congress wouldn't fund it using a word such as psychic, thus the term "remote viewing".
I would go to the Discovery website and see if there is info on it there. The program I saw was extremely interesting as well as revealing.

So do ours. And the rats. LOL! 3 last weekend with a bunch of us standing around drinking beer. Snap! Snap! Snap! Of course, I knew that was going to happen. We use beer to help us remote view. That, and cheese.

The government of the United States has used it in the past. I don't know if it is being done now, but if so, maybe they are trying to "see" where Bin Laden is hiding!
