I am running a PIII 1 GHZ w/384 MB RAM on a DELL. It is funny to hear people call me an amateur because I am currently using AOL to access the internet. I have been using the internet since day one (many years). AOL is not great but it is about my only choice around here and it is not so bad. I would love to have DSL or cable. AOL satellite is pretty fast (downloads). I always have to have the latest greatest computer stuff. Does not make me a bad person! (lol).

From that link:

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition English MLP NA Only Additional License: $89.10
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition English UPG MLP NA Only Additional License: $189.00

It doesn't explain the difference between the two, and what "MLP NA" and "UPG MLP NA" mean (I suppect NA means North America). Any ideas from you or anyone else??

(p.s. Wait!. Think I figured it out as I was writing the first paragraph -- If you buy the XP Home OS without an upgrade the cost is $199, an additional license is $89.10, total: $288.10. If you buy the XP Home using an upgrade from an earlier system, the cost is $99, an additional license is $189.00, total: $288.00 and you save a dime this way. What a bargin an upgrade and extra license are. < /sarcasm>)
