I just was listening to Roger (Forgot the last name) subbing for Rush Limbaugh today. And he said he mentioned that it should be of some concern that some of the guys in charge of the water supply are middleastern and some are even a bit radical.

He was of course immediately pronounced a "racist" by some sort of board.

Yes. Intentionally or unintentionally, Liberals and terrorists are in cahoots. Liberals are directly responsible for the present crisis.

How about just cutting back or eliminating the chlorine/floride from the water being sent into the pipes. Or, add some fecal matter to the system.

Wouldn't kill many. But it would sure inconvenience a lot of people. How would you like to have to use water that you couldn't be sure of? Make hefty profits for sellers of bottled water.

"Political Correctness" will ultimately take us the way of the Roman Empire, if we don't fight back! Freepers need to offer stiff resistance to PC, whenever we encounter it! Stay up on current events/issues, write letters to the Editor, write or call your Representatives, make your views known in political discussions, and above all- VOTE!! I only hope I'm preaching to the choir.

Liberals should pay more taxes than the rest of us too--far more. I say, since Liberals/Democrats are responsible for this crisis, we should put a heavy surcharge on all registered Democrats to pay for it. Anyway, Democrats love high taxes; let them pay them. I've always said keep the goverment out.
Liberals should support their own causes and supporters, and Conservatives should support their own causes and supporters.
Goverment should not support neither.
Goverments role is to protect America from invasion, and possibly disease. Anything that may be deadly.
Right now if the water may be a national health concern, the Goverment should move out the middle eastern workers for American security.
If the liberals complain, they can create a "support the middle eastern family fund " until this is all over.
That way Americas water is secure, and the liberals can play their political correctness game without us.
We were never interested anyway.

There are lots of really stupid people at American Universities.

(I've had many highly successful years of education and faculty experience at major and minor U.S. colleges and universities.)

Remember that jackass--a dean or something at some university--on Bill O'Reilly's show the other night?

At one point--for some reason--Bill decided to say that "of course" the jackass is "smarter" than Bill...

I guess Bill was impressed with the jackass's academic position. Or maybe he was being excessively polite. Or maybe I missed Bill's sarcasm.

Well, the jackass was impressed with his academic position also and gave no sign of disagreement with Bill's remark.

Message to Bill: You're a lot smarter than the jackass. Do NOT be impressed with academic credentials! Many people with academic credentials have mediocre minds. Do not be fooled. Do not defer to such people.

Actually, he's the guy I went to D.C. with in March for his "Hold Their Feet to the Fire #7" trip. We went to D.C. (103 of us who paid their own way), to lobby the Congress for our tax cut. And ... we got it too, didn't we!! In fact, if my tax return is enough, I plan to do it again next year. It's more fun than you can imagine!

I think PC is far more dangerous than terrorism. It is just that the results of terrorism are immediate, PC is insidious.
