OK, please tell me what it means to pray to St. Jude. I would feel like a hypocrite, since I do not pray much (for others, but not for myself, or in general) but I believe in having faith that good will come and defeat evil...
and boy could I use divine intervention now...
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers...
P.S. 'Bun, I pinged you just becuz you are such a sweetheart!!! and have been so nice to me...

since I do not pray much Sure you do; you just don't think of them as prayers. I have almost a continual "thing" going......LOL.

I'm on it right now. I spend an hour at Adoration on Fridays so I'll have all you guys in my prayers, including my own son who is separated with 2 children. Right now there's no problem with the children because she really doesn't want to be bothered with them. I think that's why he isn't too keen on a divorce just yet.

St. Jude is the saint of the impossible. You ask him to pray for you for anything that seems impossible, that really needs a miracle. The one condition is that if your prayer is answered you must spread the word.
Praying to saints is just asking them to pray for your intention along with you, to God. They have no special powers except the power of prayer. They don't grant miracles God does but it never hurts to have others pray for us whether they're here on this earth or in Heaven with God.
And don't ever feel embarrassed to pray to God, He already knows everything about you and even if you are only turning to Him in hard times maybe you will feel His Grace upon you and prayer and commitment to God will become a part of your life.

Good one! I'd also like to plug St. Joseph -- after trying to sell my house for 6 months, my priest told me to bury a St. Joseph statue in the yard. I did, and the house sold the next week. No lie!!

We buried about 5 of the St.Joseph statues in our yard. The thing was you needed to bury the statue upside down. It worked as well.

Hi , you pray a lot my dear friend.Just be yourself and pray to God, he hears all your prayers. He knows your heart and wants your children to be safe.
Always just be yourself and just talk to God as if he was sitting right next to you.......because he is

Heavenly Father, thank You for this most important answer to prayer! Children need both parents desperately, but boys especially need their fathers to learn what it is to be a man. Thank You for giving this father the right and privilege of being a full-time dad!
Father, please take control of his upcoming job interview, and if it be within Your will, please let an offer for employment result from this meeting. Also, Father, surround Headache and his son with Your angels always for protection and guidance. In Jesus' name...Amen!
