Today marks the launch of the Internet Wayback Machine. An online historical archive of everything internet. More files than the Library of Congress, who also funded the feat, along with Smithsonian and others... find your old home pages, if you can! Look up deceased dot-coms!

Thanks for this. This is awesome
Yes, FR way back when did have its share of formatting problems......

Yup, I remember spending hours and hours reading up on things when I first found FR. It was dark and sobering.
OMG! 2001! It’s been a good run. I wish I had more time to spend here. The job has taken over my time. I do miss Carlo3b and all the Cookbook crew. Angelique, may she rest in peace, Jellybean (I know you’re still Freepin’), Nutmeg, you, too. FR may have been dark and sobering, but the state of our country is darker and more sobering thanks to the idiot masses who elected this Marxist and his cohorts.
Yup, I'm still here. I just don't post as much as I used to. I don't hear from Carlo very often, but he's been ill and I don't think he spends much time on the computer. I still miss Angelique and her unique perspective. She could make me laugh when things looked the bleakest.
Do you still Remember?
I don’t believe I have ever bumped this thread.
Then again, I can’t remember where I put my shotgun yesterday...

Cool. I just thought it would be fun to bump someone back in time.
Some of these FReepers are no longer with us. May they RIP.

Crap... you’re still here. :-)
That I am!
You wrote the definitive thread on the history of FR once.
It’s always good to hear from you. :-)
I just noticed your tagline. I think I can confidently say that I had at least a part in making you “Microsoft free”... right around 1999 too! :-)
