A day in the life of President Bush (photos): 10/24/01

Good evening all! I have the extreme privilege of bringing you tonight’s dose! W was on the road selling his economic stimulus package today in Glen Burnie, Maryland. I just LOVE the ones of W with the flag—I had to turn the fan WAY up while preparing this dose!! Anyone have a good quote of the day? I was so anxious to get these photos on here I didn't get a chance to see if I could find one!

I knew there was a reason Fall was my favorite season--W looks extra good with those georgeous trees in those colors!

"Hey Andy—have you given Lawgirl that White House staff job yet? NO?? Then step behind me!"

Here was one I hadn’t seen yet- More proof that our president is a HOTTIE even on a big screen!

Yes, this is a hard thing Bush is doing. He is doing a beautiful job but I think because he loves America and Americans UNLIKE the Clinton's, Bush takes it harder and isi angrier too.I just love Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld. The real A-Team.

Nice to meet you FReeper friend.

Cheney always looks like the cheshire cat---or like a naughty little boy!! He really is a doll!

You are welcome to all the thanks I don't deserve---I can say "my pleasure" with all sincerity!

Hey, maybe if W ever gets to go back to the energy issue, I can be a spokesperson for high energy bills (from my ultra fan) and how they are squeezing "the little person"! LOL

Great job, lawgirl! Thanks for filling in. :)

There has been so much talk about President Bush's eye color already - but if you all wouldn't mind - one more time.....

What I've noticed - particularly of late - is that his eyes seem to change color depending on his mood. My sister's eyes do the same thing. She has gorgeous bright blue eyes -- that turn gray at times - and then get almost black when she's particularly peeved. I noticed this during one of his earlier speeches (might have been when he addressed congress after 9/11) and then again today. His eyes look very dark today - no hint of blue/gray there at all. The eye color seems to always match the tone of whatever speech he's giving as well. Anyone else notice this? Or am I imagining it?

The President is always tearing up. He is very emotional. It is part of his charm.

It sure is! When he refers to that quality in himself, and in his Dad he says, "We're weepers." Nothing quite like a man who has masculinity oozing from every pore, but who is so tender hearted that he can cry because he loves his country, his family, and his Lord.

I still think of the chapter in A Charge to Keep where he talks about dedicating the 'Laura Bush Promenade' at SMU, and being so overcome with his love for her that he couldn't finish, and said, "My wife had to come to the podium to hug me, and walk with me back to my seat."

Sigh............... Kinda makes you melt, doesn't it?? Have I said lately that I LOVE THIS MAN?!!

Oh, I agree. I have always felt that Clinton only said he felt our pain. George W actually does. I think he felt every death in the September 11 attack. His emotional nature runs in his family. All the Bush men in that family are said to be that way. The nice part is that it is completely sincere. It is nice to have a good man in the White House again. And one who is easy on the eye as well!!!!!

well, we don't have earthquakes either! Actually storms can be very very beautiful and exciting provided they don't go nuts and spawn some twisters like this bad boy did today! (I have tornado-phobia big time)

Thank you for the wonderful pictures.
I have started looking for this thread each evening before I go to bed.
It seems to give me a sense of security, just knowing this great man is our leader.

He was definitely tearing up, and I think it's because he loves his country, and its people!! I LOVE THIS MAN!!!

Yes, ITA. I don't know that I've ever seen a president show so much love of this country, it's wonderful!

I noticed he barely looked at any notes at all, too...it seems as though he speaks straight from the heart, and you can see in his eye contact it's as if he's speaking directly, personally, to the people that are there.

Oh, I loved that little story too, I could just picture that happening, and I bet that's not the only time something like that has happened.

So it's a Bush family trait, eh? I think it speaks to the strength of that family. It takes a lot of character to be willing to be so transparent in public like that, and obviously something #41 has passed on very well...

Okay, that's enough adoration from me tonight, lol...

Great shot of the dosage tonight -- capping off a great evening.

I got to meet Judge Ken Starr tonight, and the best part is that he thinks so highly of FReepers, for cheering on his work. I'll post a thread about it later tonight or probably tomorrow, if anyone is interested. :-D

Haow about Kenny of New jersey stealing Bret Schundlers signs, is that hilarious or what?

I've been out of the loop getting my annual Gyne and a root canal. Why was that funny?
