NEWARK, N.J. (AP) -- A Middle Eastern man arrested by the FBI in its investigation of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks was found dead in his jail cell Tuesday, authorities said.

Lets hope that this man was the anthrax mailing terrorist, and that no more of those nasty letters will go out.

Time will tell and the tale is beginning to be told as to the possible source of anthrax.

I don't like the Texas connection. This is too close to home. OBL has connections in Arlington, TX. I posted an article about these two when they were arrested. The San Antonio doctor who was supposedly involved with them has been released and cleared by the FBI.

IANAL, but I think folks held on immigration issues are not accorded habeas corpus protection.

Hmmm... indeed. I'm hoping they waiting so long to report this because of anthrax fears. It is odd, however, that the HazMat team wasn't allowed into his cell.

Don't think that's likely since he was arrested September 19th, and Daschle's letter was mailed in early October.
