They must understand that if we sleep with the nation Israel, then we will die with the nation Israel. They must understand that America is also guilty of terrorism. We also have supplied the nation of Israel the financial backing and military hardware to do the same thing that we have experienced in this country. Modern Judaism is no more a friend to Christianity and the cause of Christ than is moderate Islam. These are issues that I fear our leaders will ignore.

Sorry, but I have a BIIIIG problem with this. Last time I looked, Israel was not hijacking commercial jets and flying them into buildings in the Arab world, it was not sending anthrax through the mail, it was not bombing embassies around the world, it was not taking Christians hostage and beheading them, and it was not sending suicide bombers into discos and restaurants to kill and mutilate children and pregnant women. Israel is using American weapons to defend itself against people who do these things.

What if God is actually telling America to wake up and SUPPORT Israel? To do away with Israel's enemies once and for all, so God's Chosen People can once again live in peace in His land that He gave to them 4,000 years ago? This is just as plausible to me as the argument that God destroyed 6,000 Americans to punish the rest of us for abortion and sexy TV shows.

We have enough problems with secular Americans screaming for the U.S. to abandon Israel; we don't need Christian clerics piling on.
