Someone pointed out that the hairlines of the two men are very similar. The hairline recedes noticeably more on the men's left side of their widow's peaks (our right). Or, you could say, the men's widow's peaks deviate to the right side of their heads.
I hadn't noticed the similarities in the hairlines before it was pointed out. As a matter of fact, I had thought the hairline created a problem in associating Doe #2 with Azmath. All the shading in the artist's sketch obscures John Doe's hairline, unless one looks closely.
I think it is very noteworthy that the artist's sketch shows this detail. Someone talking about John Doe #2 gave a good description of Azmath.
