This morning, I flipped on the TV around 8am EST, and turned to Fox News. The headline at the bottom of the screen was 'Nuclear Nightmare'. I nearly had a heart attack. I thought that someone had set off a bomb, or crashed a plane into a power station. But no, they were just chatting away about the THREAT of a nuclear nightmare. Did anyone else get irked by this?
Oh, and then later, they identified Dick Gephardt as R-MO. Gee, I didn't know Dick was a Republican!
I expect better from Fox News. < / end rant>

We'll see "America Gets Nuked!" with flashing mushroom clouds and cool music in the background between commercials.

All the more reason to check in with FreeRepublic first, before looking at ANY other media.

It's on FR hours (or days!) before it appears on the networks. This is where I come first.

I flipped Fox on this morning as I was getting ready for work. I had been watching it prior to that particular headline and my husband and I were talking about how they are going to make people all the more paranoid and fearful. All they kept talking about was Anthrax, nuclear attacks and small pox. That's fine to talk about it - but at least put it into perspective - how many million people in US vs how many have Anthrax. More people are killed each day on the highway but we're not driving that point home. I am just getting a little agitated that everytime I turn it on, that's all they are discussing with M.D.'s, etc. Good day to you all and keep the faith........

I'm generally a loyal fan of Fox News, but they've been off the beam lately. Last night their "runner" at the bottom of the screen announced that Tom Ridge would be giving a press conference at 4:30 PM. That press conference had been over for about 5 hours.
Additionally, I've noted that they've had numerous incorrectly spelled words and typo's on their graphics. I know, it doesn't mean much, but it smacks of unprofessionalism.
Much as I hate to admit it, MSNBC is becoming my choice for war coverage, and I switch to Fox for commentary.

My beef with Fox is its hiring of former Army Secretary/VA Secretary Togo West as a regular contributor. Togo Baby was the guy who granted a waiver so that non-vet - and Demo fatcat - Larry Lawrence could be buried at Arlington.

It's ok...even Fox has problems with spelling...I notice errors on their trailers all the time, LOL!

When your afraid of the truth, run and hide but don't attack those that are willing to inform and alert the good people of this country as to what is going on. Fox is the only News source that is not being paid and controlled by the Democrats.

Fox is better, but not all that much better. The true fact is that about 94% of these journalism types have never voted for a conservative candidate in their entire lives.
I do like Hannity, however. And sometimes O'Reilly, Snow, and Hulmn (sp?).
